After 2 failed attempts and 1 major breakdown, I finally managed to get this decent set 🥹 I'm so so proud of it, so I thought I share it here. I did a little research, and here are some tips I've gathered that I find really important if you want a good marble:

  • Make sure to use room-temperature water. If your water is too cold, the polish will dry before you can do the "swirls."

  • Drop your drops of polish in the water QUICKLY. In order to do this, make sure to open all of your polish bottles (that you plan to use for your marble) beforehand. At first, I didn't know this because there are not a lot of tutorials mentioning it, so my polish didn't spread at all.

  • Start doing the swirls at about one-third into the diameter of the blob of polish (hope I make sense here lol). If you start from the edge, the polish will crunch up. However, this mistake can be undone, as you can still lift your stick (that you use for the swirls) straight up and start again even closer to the center of the blob.

  • Wipe your stick after each swipe.

It can be messy, but so worth it 🙂
