I’m not entirely sure if almond is the shape for me? I can’t tell whether the shape is just not good for me or that it looks kinda weird since I’ve never tried this shape before.

Firstly, you did a nice job on application and those shades of purple look great on you! Second, I don’t think almond is a bad shape for you, but I think oval/round nails or that if the almond was a bit longer would look better on you. Your cuticle shape is round, so more elongated rounded shapes match you best.
