Skin colour: Extremely warm toned. Anything in the western market, even products lambasted for being too orange for anyone to wear, will appear greyish on my skin. Korean products also don’t work on me now that cool tone is the trend in Korea. My skin is tan, not considered dark where I live but definitely dark by Japanese standards, so blush and complexion products were too chalky for me.

Skin type: Quite oily, eyeliner and mascara will always smudge (possibly due to eye shape), the question is smudge by how much?

Left to right, according to swatches in pic 2:

Heroine Make Soft Define Cream Pencil 02
Heroine Make SDCP 03

Review: Used to be my hg liner in 03, but I think they reformulated and made it more cool toned, rather than cherry brown. Don’t like the colour anymore. Also it was the only product I knew to give that creamy soft look, but now I found nicer ones! I will still use it up. It’s a drier texture so smudges less.

Canmake Creamy Touch Liner 04

Review: More creamy than Heroine Make, burgundy colour. The colour is so vibrant, as a red liner I prefer it much more to HM since it suits my skin colour, which is more vibrant than muted. Still doesn’t smudge as much as western liners, but definitely smudges on me. My face is oily, but if i swatch this on my hand and rub really hard on it, it won’t budge, even if I add soap and water. Also, it’s pretty easy to remove even with just a cleanser.

Ettusais Eye Edition Gel Liner 15

Review: Love this too, very creamy and a warm brown bloodlike colour. Doesn’t budge on hand, smudges on face.

Up2me HugmyLip Colour Lock Lip Plumper 001

Review: This is a tint. It tingles very slightly upon application but it is not a lip plumper, there will be no difference to your lips.I like that, I dislike plumpers and only bought it for the colour. I like it! More luminous products suit my skin tone more, but this still looked nice. Wearing this in second last pic in natural light

B Idol Tsuya Puru BE002

Review: I love this! It is impossible for me to find a lip shade that suits me due to the extreme warm tone of my skin. This goes well with my complexion, making my skin brighter (as in more luminous, NOT a euphemism for paler) and redness less obvious!

However, I find the grapefruit scent mildly offputting and I dislike the menthol effect when you apply. But the colour and finish is very cute. Also, this is what I am wearing in direct light on the last picture.

Not swatched:

Club Suppin Powder C pastel rose fragrance
Review: I love the scent!! It is not fully mattifying, but still leaves some luminosity to the skin. Very natural finish.

It does keep me more matte throughout almost the whole day. It comes with a powder puff, very convenient, and I like how the powder is very hard set so you pick up barely any powder on the puff for a natural application. It is not ashy at all on me due to how little you apply at once, I believe this could be suitable even for those with very dark skin as it is kind of translucent, but I can’t vouch for that.

Lovisia Snorlax lip balm
Review: Nice melon smell and very moisturising (at least in an asian summer climate, have yet to try it in europe)
