As a kid, I never really got the hang of doing my nails—my mom never did hers or mine, but my grandma would very occasionally be persuaded to give me a quick manicure. Even in adulthood, I only remember giving myself a pokeball manicure once in college, and getting a professional nude-nail look done for my wedding ten years ago. I still don’t really know anything about nails, but I bought these two nail polishes sometime last year, and finally took the time last night to take them for a spin! As you can see, my hands aren’t very steady, and the application isn’t the smoothest, but it was fun! These are the only two polishes I currently own, but idk, maybe I’ll get a couple more and use them more than once per decade lol. Pics taken indoors near a window on a cloudy day, natural light only.

Purple: Mooncat Pomegranate Seeds (3 or 4 coats; again, I lost track of counting them)

Top coat: Mooncat speed demon top coat
