2 coats of Sassy Sauce A Comet’s Tail with Orly Bonder, DRK Magnetic Effect topcoat, and Glisten & Glow qdtc. This polish was even more stunning than I thought it would be! And the formula is fantastic.
It was my first time trying the DRK topcoat. It’s kind of weird because you’re supposed to let the polish dry and then put on this topcoat and magnetize. I definitely did not get the crisp cat eye line I was going for, but I’m not sure if that’s the topcoat’s fault or just how this polish is – the swatches on Sassy Sauce’s website don’t have very crisp lines either. I do love how the pink spots move around in the light though! And the process was definitely faster since you don’t magnetize every layer (I did do it for both topcoats though).
I want to do a full mani of this with the velvet effect too. I tested it on one nail at first and it was super pretty.
