excuse the candy corn staining, ran out of base coat right before Death Valley Nails “Chartreuse Discovers Nirvana” came in the mail and it stained because I wore it too long. literally just itched my leg and had the cleanest break ever. Do I do the chop?

I feel (or at least I tell myself) that it’s easier to get away with a short thumb nail than anything else. It’s over there by itself! It’s turned away! If you’re worried that the others could follow suit, you might consider a partial clip so they take less mechanical stress. But visually IMO you’re fine.

This happened to me a few months ago! I bought press on nails around the same length as my nails and put one over my broken nail.
