Jen Phelps posted about New Makeup by Mario Moonlight palette looking very similar to Doll 10 Doll Squad 3.0 palette

Jen Phelps posted this in her YT community tab. At first look, it seemed pretty dang similar to me. But then when I looked more closely, the Doll 10 palette seemed to be missing the actual cool tones to it. To me, as far as mattes go, it has 1 taupe that looks like it leans cool (middle row far left), and it has a navy blue that looks kind of cool, and a black, but aside from that, the mattes seem pretty warm. Mario’s palette has the navy and black mattes, then it has a purpley-grey matte, a cool rosy toned matte, a light brown shade that looks like it could be neutral or maybe neutral leaning cool. For shimmers, they both have a few similar looking colors. Mario’s all look to be more sparkly topper type shades, whereas Doll 10 ones look like more opaque shimmers. Jen says how she prefers the matte and shimmer formula of the Doll 10 palette than she did in the other Mario palette she tried.

Similar enough…maybe? If you aren’t really eyeing the couple cooler toned mattes in the Mario palette. What do you guys think?

In the pics, I included Jen’s YT community tab post, I also included photos of the Doll 10 and Mario palettes from their websites where it shows them opened completely (couldn’t find one of the Doll 10 one without the shade names over the top, so I took a screen grab from Jen Phelps review video of it link in comments). I also got swatches of the Mario palette from their website. Tried to get ones from Doll 10 but they didn’t have any and the ones I did find on QVC were just so bad! So I took a screen grab of the swatches from Jen’s review video. For Mario palette, I also did a screen grab of swatches from Makeup by Mario YT video and from Patty Alonso review of the palette (link in comments). Figured it would help everyone see if they felt they were similar enough for them, or at least give you enough of an idea to know if you wanted to look into it more yourself!
