Got my order in yesterday from HHC, and since I haven’t seen any other pics or reviews of the Whatcha velvet magnet, I thought I’d share my thoughts.
I wasn’t really sure what to expect when I ordered it tbh. The presentation/packaging is super cute and nicer than what I would have expected. The colors of the tool make my duo/multichrome loving brain very happy! It’s also heavier than I thought it would be in a good way-it feels sturdy and well made. As far as how it performs, it’s great! It gave the velvet effect very quickly on 7 out of the 8 magnetic polishes I swatched; the single outlier is a magnetic that’s not very responsive at all. It’s wide enough that I won’t worry about bumping my nails into the sides too. I’m glad I picked it up, and it’s going to make using my magnetics so much easier and more fun.
