First off I just wanted to say a huge thank you for how welcoming and educational this community is! All the positivity towards people with different genders and nail lengths enjoying polish has helped me feel confident enough to share my reviews.
I've been really embracing my favourite polish subgenres these past few weeks- dark colours, grungey shimmers, weird greens and ethereal vibes.
All of these were topped with two coats of Sally Hansen insta dry topcoat. No basecoat because Orly bonder was messing me up and it took me a while to pick a replacement (I've got BKL spirit base on its way now!)

Mooncat- Dark Horse: I ordered this right before finding out about the breakages so my bottle is living in Hannibal Lecter style isolation in its own plastic box. Rich and luxurious, like the varnish on an antique desk. It took some trial and error to get used to the thick formula and its tendency to show brushstrokes but it's all worth it for how fancy and mysterious I feel when wearing it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cirque- Sour Punch: The flakies give this polish such an edible texture, part of my brain was absolutely convinced that if I bit my nails they'd taste like tangfastics. Quite sheer but I'm a jelly enjoyer so that's fine by me. Perfect for September because it gives either summertime or Halloween slime depending on the weather and your outfit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Bkl- Obnoxious Trumpet Sounds: This became my all time favourite the moment I put it on my nails. The silver/gold mixed metal look is so pretty, and the ghostly green shimmer at certain angles puts it perfectly on the weird end of ethereal. My nails love BKL's formula! This lasted a week on me which is unheard of ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Clionadh- Smedge Haze: My first clionadh polish! A classic example of something I love on other people but not on myself. Pulls very turquoise in indirect light, which isn't a colour I wear. I loved the wet look this has in sunlight, I just wish the flakes were more green. Will definitely be giving clionadh another try ⭐⭐ (on me) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (on my flatmate, whom I gave it to)

Barry M- Diamond Luxe Rarity: I cannot resist the siren song of something cool for less than a fiver in Superdrug. Blackened pewter with a scattered blue reflective glitter indoors and almost a dark olive green in sunlight. Chipped pretty much immediately after applying it but that might have been my fault for deciding to clean the bathroom ⭐⭐⭐
