So is it just me getting an odd bottle or is Cirque Rouge Rockefeller a jelly and NOT a creme as stated on their website? I bought it at the beginning of summer, and I am just now getting around to swatching. I don't hate it as a jelly, but the swatch is three coats and I can still see through it.

I’d be curious to see it swatched on your nails. I am not a Cirque fan at all, but I do think it is pretty common for reds (and dark reds in particular) to have this kind of more crelly formula. That being said, I do think it’s weird that it’s *so* sheer and – almost more noticeably to me – not at all ‘burgundy’ lol. But I wonder what it might look like once it has depth from being on a nail/finger?

Weird, and it’s a very true red, not what you expect from anything described as burgundy. Makes me wonder if the bottle is mislabelled, but the colour doesn’t look to me like any of the red jellies the brand has either.

This is so weird. Did they mislabel something? I have this polish and it doesn’t look like that at all: it’s very much an opaque red creme, it’s one of my faves. This looks like Lucky Jelly. Could you reach out to customer service and see if they can check?
That’s not right. I am wearing it right now (2 coats) and mine doesn’t look anything like that. I’ve worn mine about 5 times and it is definitely a creme.
