  1. I’m considering picking up [Cirque Colors’ Cast A Spell](https://www.cirquecolors.com/products/cast-a-spell) for my wedding nails. My wedding is October 12th outside surrounded by fall leaves (hopefully). Our colors are Orange and Navy so I thought this polish would be a really fun mix of neutral and color.

What has your experience been with Cirque Color’s thermals? This would be my first thermal so I’m pretty new to the game.

Bonus question – I’m spending all my free time looking into nail ideas for the wedding. I’m not good at nail art, but I’m trying to practice and have been doing my nails every day (thank god for peely base!) for the last week, but I’m not excited about any of it. So if you have anything you’re excited about for fall or wedding nails, I’d love to see!

  2. I love it! I also went with a bright color when I got married. I’ve had good experiences with the 2 thermals I own from Cirque. They’re over a year old now and still changing colors.

If you’re iffy about nail art, I would look into stickers or decals. Alternatively, using a topper can change the whole look of a manicure instantly with little effort.

  3. As someone who is wearing her first thermal right now: you are almost never going to get the same coloring as some of the swatch pictures. Especially the ones with the tips one color and the rest of the nail something else. Unless you have really long nails (which I do not have)- there is not going to be a huge temperature difference between the different parts of your nails. Remember – a lot of the time the swatcher is achieving that coloring by dipping their nails in cold/hot water and it will just stay that way for a short period of time. The polish will just transition between the warm and cold state for the entire nail.

I am wearing death valley nails west texas peyote and it is very very responsive to changes in temperature. Sometimes i will get weird dots of color from when I might have splashed a bit of cold water or some other solution somewhere on the nails. When I drink especially hot or cold drinks it will transition from my holding the drink. But it will quickly transition over to the warm/cold state for the entire nail.

BUT I LOVE IT. Mainly because I love the color in both states. It feels like I am able to switch nail colors without having to remove and repaint.

If you especially like the coloring in the photo you had uploaded. I would just go to a nail tech and have them reproduce that in a permanent state for your wedding.
