I am finally prioritising care of my damaged nails and trying to let them grow. I made my first attempt at nail art today and I’m pleased with it! I can’t wait until my nails are longer and even so it all looks neater, but I’m happy.

However, this was my second go at this look after trying it with a bottle of Bikini So Teeny by Essie that I bought today. It was so gloopy and difficult to apply! I had to remove it and start again with another Essie polish, Lilacism, which was better. Since I’ve started building my collection I have lots of Essie polishes I like, but the formula seems inconsistent and it puts me off buying the brand although I love the colours 🙁 Is this just my amateur application or do other people have the same issue?

PRODUCTS:

Main colour – Essie Lilacism (2 coats)
Top coat – Sally Hansen Insta-dri (struggling with some bubbles from this today)
