# MAKEUP REVIEW

**Makeup Profile:**
Pale Asian complexion with neutral yellow undertones, usually wearing N21 shades. My foundation rotation is Velvet Cover Foundation N21 (perfect match/HG) and Clio Kill Cover 21 Linen. I prefer neutral or muted purples, mauves, and pinks for makeup.

**Heart Percent – Dote On Mood Lip Pencil** | Shade: 02 Creamy Pink | *WNRP this shade*

* Wanted a slimmer lip liner for overlining that was similar in shade to my HG lip product Peripera Ink Mood Matte Stick in #02 Pink Go Up.
* It’s glides on effortlessly and is long-lasting (it survives eating and drinking!). The bullet is not too thin where it’d break and take too long to overline, but not too thick either. It twists up and down easily, and the packaging is cute and secure!
* It didn’t quite match the shade I was looking for and leaned a bit too cool tone on my skin so I wouldn’t repurchase in this shade if I finish it. The shade rose beige looks like a better fit for my skin tone though!

**Peripera – Heart Jam Glow Lip** | Shade: 08 Peach Crumble (Lucky Lottery Version) | *WRP*

* Hydrating, not sticky, with a good shine and just the right amount of pigment.
* Slim, portable, and cute packaging, making it a solid favorite for on-the-go use.

**Judydoll – Slim Liquid Eyeliner** | Shade: 01 Black | *WRP (Maybe HG?)*

* This eyeliner has the SLIMMEST BRUSH I HAVE EVER SEEN. It glides so smoothly, evenly disperses ink, and is SO PRECISE. Perfect for drawing detailed Douyin style lashes. But maybe even too slim sometimes if trying to draw a thick wing??
* Glides smoothly, stays in place, and washes off easily with an oil cleanser.
* Slim, secure packaging and great value— will 10000% repurchase.

**CLIO – Kill Cover Mesh Glow Cushion Mini SPF50+ PA++++** | Shade: 03 Linen | *Maybe WRP*

* Needed a darker, portable shade for my summer shade (I tanned a bit more than usual after running in the sun).
* Light, skin-like coverage with a natural glow—not too shiny. Perfect for light coverage without looking cakey. The online swatches makes it seem yellow, but it’s a more neutal leaning. Packaging-wise, it’s sleek and smaller than the size of my palm. Sometimes doesn’t close securely if the mini cushion puff is in the way. The mini puff is a bit hard to get used to, but helps with precise blending!

**Fwee – 3D Voluming Gloss** | Shade: B01 Vanilla 70% | *WNRP this shade*

* Was looking for a sheer, neutral pink gloss. Something less sticky than rom&nd Glasting Color Gloss in 01 Peony Ballet and more affordable than Bobbi Brown Tinted Balm in Nude Pink.
* It was slightly less sticky than the Glasting Gloss, but it was still “heavy” and “sticky” feeling. I didn’t really enjoy it and the packaging felt bulky. Shade-wise, I think I would have preferred the 30% version more.

**ABOUT_TONE – Blur Powder Pact** | Shade: 02 Light | *HG Powder Compact*

* HG powder for smoothing pores and mattifying without drying or cracking. I’ve tried multiple powders, including high-end to drugstore, and this is always a favourite.
* Perfect for touch-ups with a mirror and puff, and super portable (smaller than the size of my palm). It is slightly tinted to better fit your skintone, so you can avoid the white overcast. I can’t remember 100% if it was flashback proof, but if it’s my favourite, then it likely has no flashback.
