How does is the Dr.Althea Vitamin C compared to Vitamin C’s from Sephora?

I’ve heard a lot of good things about this serum when it comes to scar fading. I have a scab wound on my arm that I got during the beginning of the year that’s still dark; so I’m wondering if this would be effective to lighten it or if I should splurge on something like the kiehls vitamin c serum instead.

I’m not very knowledgeable with skincare so if there are any other Asian beauty brand serums good for fading deeps scars other than vitamin c, pls comment!
