Hi! As the title states, I am having a hard time telling if my nail issue is from an actual gel allergy or psoriasis. Basically I am only having the issue on my thumbs. (I should add that I do pottery and work with clay/my hands a lot which drys them and my cuticles out significantly). I’ve been noticing cracking and scales underneath my thumb nail which is common with psoriasis. But I want to make sure I am not ignoring an allergy! I don’t have any pain except for when I try to pick at the scales 🥴 (like an idiot I know). I don’t have any swelling or any issues but does anyone have experience with psoriasis? I use HEMA free builder gel (luminary, which I love) but admittedly a lot of my colors are from brands like beetles. I went down a very long rabbit hole and even if this is not an allergy I will be throwing out anything that is not up to par.
