Hi guys, I have been using this sunscreen since 2019 and it’s the only sunscreen that doesn’t make me feel like an oily mess, and doesn’t make me breakout.
I have very oily skin and live in an extremely hot & humid climate (all 4 seasons of the year).
I don’t know if anyone has the same problem as me but I feel that my skin ‘absorbs’ the oils from some sunscreens (even though they may not feel oily), and these oils are extremely hard to wash off (even with cleansing oils / micellar water / cleansing foams). This was my experience with Biore Athlizm Essence, Numbuzin No.1 Clear Filter Sun Essence and Kao Sofina Primavista UV Primer. I can literally feel the oil pouring out of my pores even after cleansing several times (especially when I’m on the hot shower, the steam brings out the oils).
The Kose Suncut Gel was the only one which I was able to wash off all the oils from my pores easily, and I suppose that’s why I don’t breakout from it.
I’ve heard about the reformulation and I am scared to try, after reading that it’s greasier.
Fans of the old formula: Can you share what other sunscreens have worked for you?
