Used to get gel nails back in the day but have recently started my regular nail polish journey. Have learned so much from this and other subs about cuticle care, nail prep, importance of base and top coat. Former nail biter and can't believe my nails are this long now!! Still struggling with shaping them a bit but it's a learning curve. Never thought natural nail polish could last up to a week, feels so exciting and nice to have pretty nails and like a whole new world has opened up!
Included the last pic of how my nails look "backlit". Is there a way around this? Should I have done a coat of a solid colour underneath?
