I love Peripera Ink Velvets, especially the bright vibrant reds and pinks. The formula is light, pigmented, comfortable and long-wearing. I think most people enjoy the line for how sheer and blurred the lip can be, but not me.
Peripera Ink Velvet in #9 Love Sniper Red is my HG — I use it on its own for a long lasting, put it on and forget about it (even eating oily foods!) OR more recently I use it as a first layer to increase the staying power of my other lipsticks (usually it's Fenty Uncensored, Nars Powermatte Lip Pigment in Starwoman or Armani Lip Maestro in 400). One thing I didn't love about Love Sniper Red was that it faded to fuchsia so using it as a first layer solved this problem for me.
Anyway, my #9 has needed replacing so I purchased #19 Love Sniper Red New, #32 Fuschia Red, #33 Pure Red, and #34 Smoky Red to compare. You can see the album swatches here. I also included swatches of two others I have #10 Oops Fuschia, another OG shade, and #31 Wine Nude. Hope someone finds this helpful 🙂
