Nailed It Grass Knot from HHC (from…Feb? 2024), 4 coats

Just couldn’t stand my last 4 coater mani (Lumen Glass Jellyfish) any longer so I switched it up.

This polish is a sheer one but some swatch pics show it as a fairly solid base. The formula was amazing but at 1 coat it was an unflattering yellow green with strong pink shimmer, the second coat was a bit more green and the third it was finally starting to show the minty base. But VNL was still very obvious so I trusted the process and added a 4th. In hindsight a blurring base would’ve helped tremendously but I wasn’t aware of the sheerness.

Even though I don’t do 4 coats normally, this time it was worth the effort. And the formula was so great that even though some of my coats were on the thicker side, there was no bubbling and no dragging and application was so easy.

It does give me dead hands in certain lighting but I love the pink to yellow shifting shimmer with the mint green base.
