Disclaimer: I received this as a gift from the maker a while back. No obligation to post or anything, this isn’t an ad, just a show off and quick rundown of my brand impressions.

This is a PBE polish from Cat Tail Nails. After seeing the recent Cat Tail Nails post with their PPU thermal, I was inspired to reach for this bottle.

Honestly, I hadn’t reached for this because it looked….boring. At least in the bottle. Even on the swatch stick, I was like eh, it’s a blue with sparkles and flakes.

But! Then I put the polish on and it was so much better than my admittedly lukewarm expectations. The shimmer POPS! The particles are bigger so it’s a more dispersed look than the finer shimmer we usually see. The coppery-pink flecks also add a really nice twist that makes this polish stand out in particular.

I’m a big anti-texture person and oftentimes struggle with polishes with lots of stuff in them, so I was kinda dreading putting this on. This polish was definitely on the thick side, so I added 10-ish drops of thinner. Once thinned, though, it played very nicely and had very little surface texture once applied.

I topped this off with the top coat from Cat Tail product (purchased). I prefer thin top coats, but the Cat Tail one is advertised as a thicker kind of plumping coat. I don’t have any others to compare this to, but it’s nice and dries pretty quickly. I do get tip wear with this one, though I don’t cap my edges so I don’t know if that would make a difference.

I don’t k ow how I’d rate this as I’ve never rated a polish before, but I’m pretty happy with it overall!
