Does anyone else remember Shelby Triglia? I used to watch her, Daisy Marquez, and Tina Halada collabs before Shelby’s ex imploded their perfomative friendship on a IG live rampage (iykyk). Anyways, I saw Tina’s IG recently, and I began to remember how Shelby and Daisy were her “besties” and how they would post snapchats partying in LA (Tina was underaged, 16 at the time). After, I started looking at Shelby’s page and saw that she is now an UNLICENSED makeup artist, booking primarily weddings at the moment. What’s comical is she used to get hella PR and free makeup, but was irresponsible with her influencer career, that she know has to start her makeup kit (videos on IG and TT) with her own funds, working as a hostess, and while supporting her two kids with her baby daddy (if i remember correctly, she got pregnant in less than a year of meeting of her baby daddy). But looking at her body of work, her skills have REGRESSED. All her client’s foundations are so yellow/orange-toned and are completely different than her client’s neck. Her eyeshadows are always muddy and patchy in the crease. I feel bad these brides are spending over $200 to look like that on the happiest day of their lives.
