I want to review a product that I was really satisfied with this summer! It’s the Day Shield Perfect Sunscreen by Gangnam Glow, a Korean product. Before purchasing, I carefully checked and learned that it’s made by LG.
I have combination skin, but it tends to become sensitive when I’m stressed. I sometimes get acne from products that don’t suit my skin, but this sunscreen hasn’t caused any skin issues.
I wanted my skin to look healthy and glowing, which is why I started using it. I really love the glowing effect, and I’m also satisfied with its tone-up and covering effects. It might look too shiny for people with oily skin.
I didn’t buy it just for sun protection; I also considered its cosmetic benefits. I use this sunscreen as my final step before heading to work in the morning, but the tone-up effect makes it look like I’m wearing makeup.
My skin tone seems to be average for Koreans—not too pale and not too brown. I think it would suit all skin types. The product has a slight pinkish color, but when applied, it disappears and doesn’t leave a white cast. It says it is fragrance-free, but I think there’s a slight scent. If someone isn’t sensitive to fragrances, they probably won’t find it uncomfortable. The texture is nice and lightweight.
I’ve been using it for over a month now without having any skin troubles. I’m thinking of sticking with this product.
