A few of the pointers I took from my last post are that you should never cure gel on your skin, the gel does not need to go all the way down to the cuticle, and to practice with regular polish before you attempt to try to learn gel.

I’m being a lot more cautious and I actually talked to a friend who had the gel allergy thing happen to her and she can never wear it again. I don’t want that, so I’m trying to be careful!

I bought a lot of nail supplies to help me with clean up during the painting process.

This blue sparkle lasted through my beach trip, digging in sand for seashells for 4 days! Just remember sucking at something is the first step to becoming really good at something! You have to start somewhere. Such as the case for anything in life! I’m gonna keep going with this hobby the best I can.

  1. Product list:
    * Modelones nail primer and base coat.
    * Temu polish: 0.24oz Reflective Glitter Gel Polish Shimmer Magnetic Cat Eye Gel Nail Polish, Soak Off UV LED Gel Varnish For Nail Art (I know I need to get nicer polish. I think I just wanted to see if I could stick with the hobby long enough to invest. This polish is supposed to be magnetic for doing cat eyes. I will post a link if anyone wants it, but wasn’t sure if linking was allowed especially to Temu 😬 I know some people say it’s sketchy!
    * Vishine no wipe top coat

I also remembered to seal the darn edges this time and that has def helped with the longevity.
