Y'all consider this your sign not to sleep on these Dollar Tree chrome powders. My sister grabbed these for me a while back and I was skeptical at first but they really are the CHROMEST. I can't wait to try the rest of the colors now!

My order of application for the chrome effect was:
Base color polish
Sticky base coat
Chrome powder
Peely base
Regular (NOT quick dry) top coat

I'm not sure if it was just luck or if I cracked the "chrome with regular polish" code but I got way better results with using a non QDTC over the peely base. I tried my quick dry from BKL first and it wasn't terrible, but got just a bit cloudy and lost some of the chrome shine so I swapped and used a regular one and I feel like I lost little to none of the chrome effect with it.

Total product list for all nails:
•Ioni chrome powder "Glow Up" (not sure if it's available outside of Dollar Tree stores but that's the brand listed on the box)
•Sally Hansen Insta Dri "The Queen's Velvet"
•Sally Hansen Insta Dri "Witch Please"
•Orly Bonder Base
•UNT "Ready for Takeoff" peel off base coat
•Believe Beauty "Gel Effect" top coat
•Sinful Colors "Matte-ifly" top coat

Thanks for showing this I have a bunch of the powders but have yet to buy any of the base/top coats I need to get them to work! Absolutely love the Ioni brand, they have amazing products for a dollar store line

Thanks for the heads up! Last week, I found a Sally Hansen pale glittery yellow I had wanted but never grabbed (and no longer saw it in stores).

Ooh! I saw those the other day and wondered how they were. These look gorgeous! I’ll have to drop in and pick some up.
