this is the american version which is not the same formula. i don’t think you can get the japanese one on amazon anymore, unfortunately.

Trust your gut if something feels off. I’ve been reading some disturbing news that there are a lot of fakes on Amazon. I’ve started ordering Asian beauty exclusively from Stylevana as a result.
Separately, another thread mentioned that buying Biore manufactured for the US market means they have to be FDA compliant so it does not have the same advanced UV filters as the Asian version.
Anecdotally I was using this exact sunscreen when I got to Europe last month and kept seeing sunspots pop up and switched to a French sunscreen with the more advanced (non FDA approved) filters and the sunspots reduced and went away. I threw away this bottle while abroad 😅
