Do you have “genres” of polish you just can’t quit?

There are a few that I find myself drawn to again and again, one of which is what I like to refer to as “funky neutrals.” It’s definitely a prugly adjacent category with a lot of greens, browns, and russets. They’re the sort of hues you would see out in nature, but elevated with shimmers and finishes to give them that little extra oomph. And let me tell you, Tall Grass, Enveloping by Lurid Lacquer is a prime example of said genre.

Described as a cool, sheer, medium brown crelly base with large particle gold to green to blue aurora shimmer, Tall Grass displays an amazing shift of colors. It’s giving late summer, like a corn field that’s ready to be harvested, or leaves that are just beginning to turn and show the first hints of autumn. Honestly, this is one of the prettiest earthy-toned polishes I’ve ever had the pleasure of wearing. I’ll be wearing this one again once the fall season is in full swing. 🍂
