This is Highlight of My Day, a $3 Studio M polish, with the topper Mini Cupcake from the same brand. It’s looking slightly green-leaning here, but looks less greenish to me in person. It’s so bright and punchy, and it glows under black light. I think putting it over a white base layer would work to eliminate the VNL better – this is 3 coats and I can still see my nail line pretty well.

I’m not as in love with the topper – it’s too base-heavy, IMO. I don’t really like how much I have to finagle the glitters around on my nail.

Products:
* Ella + Mila Sheer in Dream as a base coat
* Studio M – Highlight of My Day (3 coats)
* Studio M – Mini Cupcake (2 coats) and Alchemy – Glitter Elixir on middle & ring
* INM Out the Door topcoat

  2. The color is amazing! The topper is super fun, too! Maybe you could try the ‘apply with a sponge’ trick? I haven’t don’t that myself but I’ve seen it recommended to others with similar complaints about toppers that are hard to manage…?
