So I've painted my nails a bunch over the years but only discovered gel and shellac in the past few months. After getting my nails done professionally a couple times, I wanted to give it a try myself, and this is the result.
Overall I'm pretty happy with my nails, though it took me a collective 4-5 hours to get the old gel off and apply the new stuff.
I'm also iffy about the colour: I wanted to go for a sheer neutral that replicated my nail bed. Two coats of this colour made for a washed-out milk look, but only one coat seems to be kind of streaky and inconsistent.
Anyways, I'd love some feedback about the shape and colour and overall technique!
