I have no clue what nail shape to go with, no idea what will work for me (never been a girly girl) TBH whatever you feel will look good on these boney hands, please feel free to suggest. All sort of criticism is welcome. Please don't hold back.

Yours are pretty and cared-for hands, and I am a bit of a connoisseur. Congrats on dipping your toes into the girliness~
To give advice, we’d need to know what do you want, what do you like? Are you planning to grow your natural nails out a bit and shape them, or get extensions of some kind? Do you prefer (and able to function with) longer nails or shorties? Either way, if it’s your first-ever time treating yourself to such a manicure, maybe go with the classics, like short or medium ovals: that shape generally looks good on everyone, and it is pretty strong and easy to wear.
And if you are planning on getting polish as well, wait till you discover all the color/shimmer/cat’s eye/designs/etc etc options…
