The purple polish I bought on sale recently, I paid a disgustingly small amount which was very gratifying 😄

The ‘green’ glitter my husband brought home as a suprise a couple of days ago, and really, I couldn’t have picked a more suitable polish myself – I’m always on the hunt for green glitters because I struggle to find them. It’s a interesting glitter polish and in the light it’s not just green, there’s yellow and blue in there too! It’s the kind of polish I call ‘peacocky’. He did a great job and I decided to test it over the purple just ‘cos I wanted to see what would happen. 🤷‍♀️

I’m biased but I think the two polishes look great layered. The purple is a deep purple with shimmer to it, I was a little disappointed on the quality, my tips were balding a tiny bit on some nails. 3 coats would’ve been better on the purple just to get a better spread of pigment.

The glitter I think did really well for only 1 coat, there’s more than adequate glitter and really if I’d added more coats it would’ve covered the purple completely and I wanted both polishes visible.

Both these polishes work better together than they would on their own I think, so I’m calling this experiment a success. I ended up with something kind of galaxy looking and spacey. 😊
