Hi, this cream is my holy grail for a daytime moisturizer but it is on the expensive side, so I am looking for a cheaper but similar cream. I have sensitive acne prone combination skin. My favorite things about this cream are it is soothing for irritated skin, and it dries nicely but also feels hydrating. A lot of creams I’ve tried struggle with the balance of being able to dry well and properly moisturizing my dry skin – they’re either too oily and take forever to dry or they’re not moisturizing enough but dry quickly. Does anyone have any suggestions?

i don’t necessarily have a specific recommendation (i tried this and didn’t love it so i haven’t like sought out something similar) but i could tell from using it that a lot of the nice texture it had was from the silicones in the formula! so i would definitely look for something with silicones in the ingredient list. it also of course has those ceramides which are great for barrier support but i do think the silicones were a large part of what you enjoyed
