    Fake denoted by red

Pic 1: swatches in sunlight. Can’t really tell much of a difference but the fake one has a yellow tinge to it.

Pic 2: swatches in bathroom lighting. The yellow tinge is a lot more apparent

Pic 3: front do the packaging looks almost identical. But the font is a bit off on the fake one.

Pic 4: the back of the packaging was a huge giveaway imo. The font was blurry and not as sharp.

Pic 5: this is what convinced me of it being fake, the pumps are different and actually the size of the caps are different too.

Backstory: I was browsing Walmart one day and saw a deal for 2 of these sunscreens for $15. I checked blooming koco and they had the same deal so I took a chance and ordered from Walmart. I had zero expectations from this purchase but just wanted to see if it was legit because the listing was made by “StyleKorean Global”. That’s the same company that owns and operates blooming koco. When it shipped , the tracking started in California, which is also where blooming koco ships from. So at this point I was thinking maybe this is an excess inventory sale? But this sunscreen is so popular! Excess inventory would be so unlikely. Anyway, it got here in like 3 business days. I wish I had saved the box but the label actually said “StyleKorean Inc.” which almost convinced me it was real.

The product: so I have been using it for the last 4 days and texture wise it’s not similar to the actual SKIN1004 sunscreen. It’s slightly heavier. Actually it’s exactly identical to the Cosrx aloe soothing sun cream (which I had just finished using funny enough). It even smells like that. But there’s no white cast and my skin feels fine. So I think I’m going to keep using it because I did pay for it.

I don’t think I would recommend anyone else to do this. I did it out of curiosity and to see what these “dupes” are like. Cheers!
