Natural nails, no base coat. Regular polishes not gel.
* Metallic dark pink on pinky, ring and thumb is 2 coats of Katerina Beauty ‘Gel’ Effect nail lacquer; ‘Super Shine’ number 024.
* Neon pink creme on middle and pointer fingers is 2 coats of HudaBeauty Vitamin Super Nail Hardener; number 6.
* Sealed with 1 thick coat of ‘Black Gem’ clear coat; number 72.
I picked up the neon pink creme a couple of days ago in a store that I often visit for cheap polish. It was 50c for 20ml. I didn’t have a pink that shocking 😂 so gamely took it home.
The dark metallic pink I’ve had for ages and it’s just sat unused, really silly of me as it’s actually a beautiful polish. That was pricier at about a dollar fifty in U.S terms.
Pink isn’t my ‘go to’ thing by any means but these two went well together and a change is as good as a holiday. There’s the slightest bit of VNL with the neon pink so it’s sorta like a jelly and I like that shade more than I thought I would. It’s VIOLENTLY pink lol.
The ‘Black Gem’ clear coat is great – 50c for 20ml stuff and it doesn’t even pretend to the title of ‘top coat’ 😁, it’s just bog standard and unapologetic about it and really, it’s one of the nicest ‘finishing’ products I’ve used. My heart was in my mouth today as the wand disconnected itself from the lid 😬, thankfully it decided to behave after I pushed it back in and we proceeded on towards greatness. 😌
