My second set ( and one question <3 )

I’m struggling a little when it comes to glitter. I’d like to achieve a fading look (that I attempted here), so it wouldn’t do to pour glitter over the nail, I need to apply it. My issue is, everywhere I have looked I’ve seen artists applying the glitter with brushes. But when I try that, it doesn’t work. The glitter doesn’t stick to the brush and I barely get anything, so with these I ended up scooping the glitter with the brush.

Any tips on how to get glitter to stick to a brush? I haven’t tried powders (pigments?) yet but if brushes don’t pick up glitter I worry that it might be the same with that, too 🤔
