(forgive the weird pose lol). the first time i wore flight of the monarchs i wasn’t impressed with the shift or how it looked on my skin tone, but had a hunch that if i layered it over a purple creme it would look better, and i was right! i think a darker purple (from what i own, ORLY starlit shale i think would be nice) would be a more overt halloween-y vibe, but imo play date is pretty close to the purple shift already there so i went with that!
