  1. I am trying to get noticed by doing yt videos and tiktok as well posting on instagram. I dont have a studio yet but am open to travelling and doing nails at client’s homes. Tmr gonna talk to a salon if i can join them.

These are still pretty obviously beginner nails; I don’t think you’re ready to charge anything other than the cost of materials from people you practice on; this is not to discourage you, continue practicing for a little longer I think you’ll be great!

I think you still need practice and would agree with the comment saying to just charge cost of materials to start and not discourage anyone from returning. Important that a piece of determining your worth will include consideration to how long they take you. Even if you are making a profit, if designs take a long time, it’s not quite profitable. But doing nails is very much a learnable skill with practice if you can keep working on it 😊

  4. I think at this stage of skill you should practice on eg your friends more first, get the word around etc (can charge them a small amount). Imo a high quality manicure is defined not primarily by its design but by the quality of shape, cuticles, applying gel evenly etc. Those things cannot be practiced on press ons. You have to become a perfectionist in each area of a manicure

  5. I don’t think you’re ready to go pro. Keep practicing and do more practice on real people, not just press ons.
