  1. **Skin type:** Dry, very easily sensitised skin, possibly weakened/compromised barrier
**Climate:** Tropical, very humid (avg of 80%+ humidity) and a little hot (31c on most days)

**Cow Brand Mutenka Makeup Removing Cleansing Milk**
    *10/10 holy grail*
this has quickly become my holy grail cleanser! i’m using this as a second cleanser after using the muji oil cleansing (not the sensitive skin version). it’s so gentle but cleanses my skin so effectively. i haven’t tried it alone without an oil cleanser tho, so i can’t speak for its makeup removing ability. it’s fragrance-free and is something that is important to me. very solid cleansing milk overall!

    **TIRTIR Milk Skin Toner**
    *7/10 wnrp*
this is going to be a somewhat unpopular opinion but i did not like this. i tried very hard to like it and finished the bottle. every time i put it on, my skin stung. (-1) i’m not sure if it’s because of the many many extracts (might be irritating for some people (-1), but for my skin type it’s a further -1) it includes, but it never felt good. the emollient nature of this toner was really welcome and i loved that, but with how much it irritates me i just wasn’t able to enjoy it. perhaps this would be better for someone with stronger skin at a good baseline!

    **SKIN1004 Probio-cica Intensive Ampoule**
    *10/10 holy grail*
i love this so much! i love the nourishing yet light texture, how it doesn’t irritate me at all, and the fermented ingredients. the stringy texture can be a teeny bit messy but you get used to it after awhile. i really liked that aspect tho, tickled my brain in a good way. i used this when my skin barrier was severely compromised and was healing my skin back to a good baseline. worked really well!

    **d’Alba Waterfull UV Essence**
    *6/10 wnrp*
this one was okay, i’m not crazy about it but it works. did not like the smell (-1) and it does contain a number of essential oils that irritated me a little (-1 for the EOs and a further -1 for sensitive skin). it’s also not water resistant which a lot of korean sunscreens are not, but for my climate having a water resistant sunscreen is pretty important (-1). i imagine this working a lot better for someone else tho!

    **Rovectin Calming Sensitive Lotus Cream**
    *9/10 wnrp*
i got this when i was trying out different moisturisers after my previous holy grail, the aestura atobarrier 365 cream, was reformulated. i thought the humid climate would call for a lighter moisturiser but this was not enough for my dry skin (-1). not much occlusive in this formula and did not do much for transepidermal water loss. this was 100% on me and it’s still a great moisturiser for other skin types or in a different climate!

  2. Thank you for the reviews!

The tirtir toner and d’Alba sunscreen are both in my cart and you helped me save some money, dont think they’ll suit me either 👀
